Character Comes From Choices

An edited excerpt from: Inspiring Moments, Inspiring Life: Character Comes From Choices.

~ Your life is lived in who you are and who you choose to be. ~

Kids (and some adults too) love superheroes. Although superheroes are fictional, there are very real similarities between their stories and ours. We have the ability to make choices as we face many of the same decisions comic crusaders face. We can choose to be helpful or hurtful, kind or cruel. We can spend our time doing things that bring happiness, or spend time doing things that cause pain.

The big difference between superhero stories and ours is that our stories are real. Every day we have the ability to make superhero choices, no matter how big or how small they may be.

Your Life is Important

An edited excerpt from: Inspiring Moments, Inspiring LifeYour Life is Important

~ Everyone makes a difference in the lives of others.~

Everyone is important because everyone makes a difference in the world. We all connect with people in one way or another, and it’s in these connections that life is lived.

As people we have differences, however we can find and share in the commonalities of joys and accomplishments, or trials and struggles. It’s individual dreams and goals working simultaneously that make life what it is for us, and for those around us.

In being yourself, you’re important every day. Enjoy the journey of finding your way and place in the world, and of those who will share in it with you.
